What is it about

Keeping others safe during times of COVID requires everyone to do their part. Each of us must each adopt a new set of behaviors that protects not just us as individuals, but also others in the places where we work, learn, and live. Whether we are looking out for our co-workers, teachers, or loved ones, each of us must pledge to keep others safe. That is why we have developed the Keep Others Safe personal engagement app to facilitate the daily habits that are so important to stop the spread of the virus.

New personal health behaviors include:

  • Wearing a mask
  • Maintaining safe distances based on environment and activity
  • Practicing enhanced personal hygiene – hand washing, cleanliness
  • Self monitoring of symptoms and contacts and reporting these to healthcare professionals
  • Following instructions to isolate or quarantine away from others

Based on the latest CDC guidelines, the Keep Others Safe personal engagement app takes less than one minute each day to track symptoms and to reflect on interactions with close contacts or high-risk situations that might put you and others at risk. Once completed, these results are presented in an easy to show “color-coded” format suggesting your next steps. “Green" is good to go and low risk to others. “Red" is stay away until you can share your results with your doctor, workplace, or school. The Keep Others Safe tool resets every morning at 4 a.m., so you start each day “red” until you complete your daily check.

In addition to the individual engagement tool, the Keep Others Safe platform has an administrative portal that helps your workplace or school protect your entire community through secure text messaging and monitoring.

Finally, the Keep Others Safe personal engagement app can be customized and linked to important community support tools and resources, including company or school websites, CDC or state dashboards. It also can provide important health contacts for reporting results or where to go to get tested. All conveniently from a mobile device.

Our goal is to facilitate community engagement to improve clear communication and education around new expectations.

Our app is a communication platform and reference source for critical information at your workplace or school. It aligns with your organization's efforts to keep the community safe and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
